fun at harvest fest

spent time at camp acahela on saturday....

harvest fest 2012...

 landon wanted to do everything!!!

 ben was content to sit back and watch.....that's my ben..

unfortunately, one of the older scouts (he was probably 11) decided he was going to "help" landon.....
instead, he somehow ended up shooting all the arrows.....
landon wasn't happy...

 ben shot one or two arrows....

ben thought that was really cool....

 landon didn't care for chewbacca so much....

 this was by the campsite where ben and brian stayed this summer...
landon saw the pennsylvania state flag and said "hey, there's uncle john's flag!!"

this was towards the end of the day...

they had some really cool events in the big clearing at the bottom of the hill...

pumpkin launch.

obstacle course.

frisbee toss....etc.

it was wet and really muddy, but we had a nice time....

fall is here..

trees are changing....
weather has been pretty nice....
definitely need to take more pictures....

seeing things a little clearer.....

picked up ben's glasses yesterday.....

he wasn't thrilled about getting them...

but once he put them on...

he realized how nice it was to be able to see...

i kind of liked these harry potter frames :)

ben's getting glasses....

took ben for an eye exam...
turns out he needs glasses...
he's not thrilled...
so i let ben pick them out...
he picked out red & black frames...
personally...
i like the 'harry potter" frames ;)

Tonight my brothers took Landon to a hockey game....
I'm sure they're regretting it....
Landon is bound to get bored....
I made sure I packed his DS and some snacks...

soccer..soccer...& more soccer....

two soccer games this week...
brian missed both...
(working out of town)
landon scored a goal in each game!
both games ended in the dark.....boo....winter is coming ...
i'm not ready.

 eric & becky had a cake for hailey on sunday (10/7/12)....
kids were all there....except cheyenne...
not sure if he invited mike or not???
it's nice to get the kids together....
it doesn't happen much anymore....
when my mom was here...we got together all the time....
sucks.
